Can't I just use a dishwasher for everything?

No. While dishwashers are great, many cookware items are not dishwasher-safe and can degrade if placed in one. Also, some cookware is simply too large to fit in the dishwasher. For those dishes that you do want to put in the dishwasher, the Spinge is perfect for a pre-dishwasher rinse or even a full clean.

Below is a following list of common cookware items that may degrade in the dishwasher

  • Cast Iron: Can rust and lose its seasoning.
  • Nonstick Pans: The coating can wear off.
  • Copper and aluminum items: Can discolor.
  • Wood: Can warp or crack.
  • Some plastic containers: Can melt or warp.
  • Brass Cookware: Can tarnish.
  • Crystal or hand painted china: Can chip or fade.

Worried about water splattering everywhere?

Don’t worry, we’ve thought about this. Here’s how you avoid it:

  • For cookware and dishes, we recommend that you use the lower speed setting.
  • For larger applications such as stovetops, and sinks, feel free to unleash the beast and use the higher speed setting.
  • When cleaning rims and edges of cookware, we recommended that you turn the Spinge off and glide the bristles along the edge.

Good to know.

We recommend that you do keep a non-electric sponge for intricate cleaning such as utensils, and sharp object like knives.

Your Spinge comes with a USB to USB-C charging wire. Please note that the USB charging brick is not included. You can use any standard USB charging brick or port for convenient charging.

Additionally, the Spinge doesn't stand on its own, but don't worry—a stand will be available for purchase soon.

We will soon begin selling replacement brush and sponge heads; rest assured, our durable bristled brushes are built to last.

How to care for your spinge.

  • Dry off your spinge before placing to charge
  • Unplug the charging whenever you notice it is fully charged

Disposal

We understand it can be hard to part with your Spinge and brush heads. When it's time, we want to ensure they are disposed of properly for your safety and the safety of our planet.

The Cone Brush, Flat Brush, and base attachment of the Scouring Pad/Sponge are recyclable. However, sponges and scouring pads themselves should be thrown in the trash. If you need to dispose of your Spinge scrubber, take it to a designated recycling center or household hazardous waste collection point due to its lithium-ion battery.
